(About No Breathing)
On 22nd October, Yuri attended a press conference for "No Breathing" with her co-stars which included Lee Jongsuk, Seo Inguk and Park Chulmin, as well as the film's director. The press conference was held at CGV Wangsimni Theaters.
During the press conference, Yuri explained about the movie's swimming theme and her character. She said, "Firstly, I liked the movie the fact that it was about swimming. I have a liveliness of youth and it was appealing to think that it could be a type of genre that I could really show a fresh naturally appearance as it is."
She continued, "I felt a relationship in the character of Yoon Jeung Eun in the film as soon as I saw her since there were lots of similarities between how she tried to achieve her dream and how I spent my trainee days before becoming an idol singer. So I was really connected to her and was easily act comfortably."
Yuri also spoke about her group members. She stated, "There was a group chatroom where I be able to talk to all the members. In that chatroom, we talk about each individual's works. The members really liked 'No Breathing' because they know that I enjoy swimming."
She confessed as continue, "However, unfortunately, I'm not a swimmer in that role, I played as a musician. The members were pretty sad about it, but they interested in movies so much, they started to actually look up close at things I interested in. They supported my appearance in 'No Breathing'."
Yuri also mentioned the lack of kiss scene, saying, "I had some disappointment regarding a kiss scene. There are refreshing scenes that took the place of a kiss scene, so I filmed it with a joyful heart."
Yuri also asked to pick between two co-actors, Lee Jongsuk and Seo Inguk and said, "I'm happy just to think about it, but do I have to choose?"
Finally, at the end, actor Park Chulmin spoke about working with Yuri. He stated, "I liked that she played around with me." He showed a smile afterward and added, "I'm a senior in acting, there is a gap between ages, so it would have been uncomfortable and difficult if Yuri was very careful and polite."
He also revealed, "I had worries like that, too, so I liked that she played around with me, more than my daughter. Today, she called me 'Dad' as soon as she saw me, so I asked her to call me 'oppa'. I liked that we could spend time closely without being reserve."
